Level scaling
What is level scaling? When enemies level up with you to keep fights challenging, as in Oblivion, Skyrim and Borderlands 2, and why players argue about it.
Level scaling adjusts the strength of enemies, or of the player, as the player levels up, so that fights stay about as challenging as before. Role-playing games such as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Skyrim use it.
